Pistol 101: Introduction to Pistol/Handgun

Are you a new shooter looking to gain fundamnetally sound knowledge on begin able to shoot more proficiently? Are you needing guidance on how to quit shooting to the left or right of the target? Are you still hesitant about getting into firearms and/or training because you don't feel confident handling your firearm? Haven't used your firearm in a while and want to get back in the groove? Well this is the course for you! 

This introductory course helps you to gain a knowledge of firearms. It teaches you the fundamentals of shooting which are a foundation that's needed to be able to become more proficient as a shooter. Whether you're a beginner or someone that wants to continue training, this is the class for you.  Students will leave the course having learned and completed the following tasks:

• The basic functions and components of a handgun/revolver
• Basic fundamentals of marksmanship
• Applying the fundamentals through skill building drills, and
• Properly cleaning and storing your firearm so that you are ready for your next range session.

Items that are needed for the course:

• Notebook
• Pen

Students will be supplied with ammunition, handgun rental, eye and ear protection. 

This course is not set up for students to shoot a high round count. Ammunition will be used sparingly (25 rounds per person).
