License to Carry Certification Course

The Texas License to Carry Certification course is designated for those that are looking to obtain their Texas License To Carry. This two part class.

Part One: Classroom Lecture (No less than 4 hours, but no more than 6), followed by a classroom test where students must pass the test with a 70% or more.

Part Two: Proficiency Test - Each student must pass a proficiency test with a 70% or higher. 

Items Needed for the course: 

• A Handgun - The handgun must be a 22 caliber or larger handgun
• Ammunition - You will need 50 rounds (One Box) of Brass Cased Ammunition (Full Metal Jacket). Absolutely no Aluminum or Steel 
• Texas Driver's License or Texas Identification Card

Note: This course is not designed to teach shooting instruction. You must be proficient with a firearm prior to taking this class.
